To my son, Timothy
Jesus asked his disciples once:
Where is your faith, my dear?
They were in amazement and fear,
When He gave them a second chance.
Who is this? He commands the wind.
Water roaring just comes down
Or whatever He walks through the town
With a saint protection and a shield?
Where is your faith today, my son?
Do you think His power diminished?
On the cross Jesus said: "It is finished!"
But as for you this race has begun.
Therefore, fight a good fight and run!
Be a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
You have been bought with a precious price,
Keep your faith, my dearest son!
The Lord is your light and salvation,
The Lord is the defense of your life!
He will be the Commander in your fight,
Go into the world to preach to the nations!
